Swiss Selection for the Polymanga Swiss Cosplay League

This competition brings together around ten of Switzerland’s best cosplayers, judged on their costume (80%) and stage performance (20%). The winners will earn a spot in the national finals at Polymanga 2026, where they will compete for the title and a series of cash prizes. One representative and one runner-up will be selected.

Selection for the Europa Cosplay Cup

Cosplayers will compete to represent Switzerland in the Europa Cosplay Cup finals, which will take place in November 2025 at the Toulouse Game Show in France. This contest is judged equally on costume (50%) and stage performance (50%). Its unique concept includes an online jury vote during the finals. One representative and one runner-up will be chosen.

Selection for the International Cosplay Cup

This competition determines the Swiss cosplayers who will participate in the International Cosplay Cup finals, held in September 2025 at Japan Weekend in Madrid, Spain. The contest features two categories: solo (100% costume) and duo (40% costume, 60% performance). One representative and one runner-up will be selected in each category.

Selection for the Tournament of Champions

The best solo cosplayers will compete for a spot in the Tournament of Champions finals, which will take place in October 2025 at Yunicon in Vienna, Austria. This competition focuses entirely on costume quality (100%). One representative and one runner-up will be chosen.

Selection for the Yamato Cosplay Cup

Two Swiss solo cosplayers will be selected to represent Switzerland at the Yamato Cosplay Cup, with the finals taking place in September 2025 at Animecon in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This contest is equally judged on costume (50%) and stage performance (50%). Unlike other selections, no runner-up will be chosen—only two representatives will be selected.

Selection for the World Cosplay Summit

This competition will determine the Swiss duo that will participate in the prestigious World Cosplay Summit, the world’s largest duo cosplay competition, taking place in August 2025 in Nagoya, Japan. The evaluation is based on 50% costume and 50% stage performance. One representative duo and one runner-up duo will be selected.

General Solo Competition

If spots remain available after the European and world selections, this solo competition will give cosplayers another chance to compete. Judged 50% on costume and 50% on stage performance, the top three will be ranked and awarded prizes.
