Starting off as an illustrator in early 2000s, Murat Cengiz has found places to be either in the academia, industry or out on the field: doing photography and illustrative reconstruction in archaeology teams; creative directing for home decor product design and advertising; editorial illustration and mural painting, he totally succeeded in not sticking with one thing. Following his sabbatical as a nomad artist and teacher in South East Asia in 2017-2018, he settled in Bern and started his own atelier as a full-time independent creator. Currently he focuses on creating sculpted collectibles and paintings as a multi-material artist.
